We are in the product build phase and preparing for our first institutional and strategic fundraising. Our investor ecosystem is centered around the Bay Area, while the team operates remote-first. Role Overview: • We’re looking for a Strategic Advisor to support Matriosh with fundraising strategy, investor positioning, and venture guidance. This is a non-operational, advisory role focused on strategic input, mentorship, and selective introductions — not day-to-day execution. • Ideal for experienced founders, investors, or senior operators who enjoy shaping early-stage companies. What You’ll Advise On: • Fundraising strategy, timing, and structure (pre-seed / seed) • Pitch decks, storytelling, and investor materials • Investor outreach approach and negotiation insights • Introductions to relevant angels, VCs, or strategic partners (as appropriate) What We’re Looking For: • Experience as a founder, investor, or senior startup leader • Hands-on exposure to startup fundraising or venture strategy • Strong understanding of VC dynamics, term sheets, and cap tables • Ability to act as a trusted strategic sounding board Work Model & Location: • Remote-first advisory role • Flexible working arrangement • Occasional in-office presence for collaboration or key discussions (as needed) • Open to candidates globally; Bay Area proximity is a plus, not a requirement Compensation: • Equity-only advisory role • No cash compensation at this stage (pre-seed) • Long-term upside aligned with company growth Why Join Matriosh: • Influence fundraising and strategy at the earliest stage • Work closely with a strong technical founding team • Meaningful equity in a high-upside AI company Apply tot his job
