Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Moderation Specialist

Job Description As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of our online community on our official Discord server.This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of like-minded individuals. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Moderating chat conversations to ensure that users adhere to our community guidelines and rules * Deleting messages that violate our community standards * Banning users who repeatedly break our rules * Muting users who have violated our community guidelines * Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations * Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies * Providing excellent customer service and support to our members Pay and Benefits As a valued member of our team, you can expect: * A competitive hourly rate of $12.50 per hour * A weekly pay cycle, with payments made every Monday * The flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time, as long as you have a stable internet connection * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * A dynamic and supportive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: * To be at least 18 years old * A high school diploma or equivalent * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience would be a plus: * Previous experience as a moderator or community manager * Knowledge of community guidelines and moderation best practices * Familiarity with online safety and security protocols * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills About arenaflex arenaflex is a company based in Castle Rock, Colorado, that's dedicated to creating a more equal and just world.We believe that everyone deserves access to equal opportunities and a fair chance to thrive.
