Telerecruiter- Must reside in Central Pennsylvania
Summary: Full Time Monday- Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. , Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Position is remote after 1 month of in person training at our Hummelstown Office. Must be a resident of Central Pennsylvania.
Ensures that blood collection goals are met by telephone recruiting the appropriate donors to the fixed sites and mobile blood drive operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ā Calls potential blood donors and answers incoming calls.
Ā Telerecruits appropriate donors based on inventory needs. Calls potential donors and answers incoming calls by following script guidelines. Uses assertive communication to secure appointments.
Ā Performs reminder calls and no-show calls.
Ā Schedules next appointment for donors at the donor sites.
Ā Meets individual and team goals to complete a minimum number of dials and appointments per hour.
Ā Responsible for presenting a positive public image when interacting with donors and representing a donor site. Builds rapport with donors through excellent customer service and the use of effective listening skills.
Ā Maintains accurate records. This includes computer data entry, appointment schedules, and other written records.
Ā Possesses a clear understanding of the donation process and donor deferral guidelines and procedures. Refers donor inquiries to appropriate personnel. Respects confidentiality regarding donor information.
Ā Completes other job related responsibilities as apparent or assigned.
Ā Organizes and prioritizes work each shift based upon guidance from department manager and from the site leader, ensuring goals are met within prescribed standards of quality. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications:
Ā Telemarketing or customer service experience preferred.
Ā High school graduate preferred.
Requirements:
Ā Required to regularly sit and talk and hear.
Ā Vision abilities required include close vision, color differentiation, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ā Continuous use of customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
