Technical Writer ( Remote) - Stage 4 Solutions Inc - USA - work from home job Company: Stage 4 Solutions Inc Job description: We are looking for a Technical Writer for a large, global B2B Software company. This role will be responsible for working closely with engineering and product management to plan, create, and maintain user-focused technical documentation for multiple product features or applications, in alignment with an established content strategy We have 2 positions open for this. The position is a 1-month duration and the other is 3 months. 40 hours per week Remote Role in the US. This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities: • Analyze existing documentation to determine usability, identify inconsistencies, and recommend and make improvements to ensure consistent formatting, language, and style • Coordinate the review and approval of product documentation. • Continuously improve documentation by responding to and incorporating feedback from internal users. • Gather source content from subject matter experts to create highly technical process documentation. • Create illustrations, or multimedia content such as gifs, that supports technical documentation. • Quickly adapt and develop a strong understanding of the ServiceNow product ecosystem and expert knowledge of the specific product area and user base you support. Requirements: • 4+ years work experience in technical communication • Samples of your prior technical writing work or other writing that demonstrates your ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information clearly • Experience authoring in the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) and Oxygen XML tool • Experience independently planning, creating, and delivering documentation in a fast-paced, globally distributed software development environment • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision • Ability to track documentation, set targets for milestones, and adhere to deadlines • Ability to learn highly technical processes quickly using effective interviewing techniques and reviewing of source content in a variety of forms • Experience working with software tool such as SnagIT, Microsoft Visio • Experience working with enterprise software such as ServiceNow Please submit your resume to our network at (apply to the Technical Writer (Remote) role).
