We’re looking for a Tax Research Manager to join a growing team, bringing both technical expertise and leadership skills to the table.
What You’ll Do
• Research federal and state tax issues and prepare clear, practical documentation for both clients and colleagues
• Partner with clients to optimize tax positions while ensuring compliance and readiness for changing regulations
• Review complex returns across individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and insight
• Provide mentorship to staff by answering technical questions and supporting their professional growth
• Contribute to the development of firmwide tax policies, quality standards, and best practices
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• CPA or EA preferred
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting with a strong tax foundation
• Demonstrated ability in technical tax research and clear, persuasive writing
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
