We’re looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a thriving financial services firm based in Melbourne Australia. Our client, a progressive Melbourne-based firm, is leading the charge in providing modern solutions for Small to Medium Businesses, exclusively using Xero and a cutting-edge app stack. With a vibrant culture that places innovation, customer experience, and teamwork at its core, we’re looking for a driven Senior Tax Accountant to be part of our Business Services & Compliance division.

What You’ll Do:
· Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements for companies, trusts, and individuals.· Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns.· Preparation of BAS and IAS.· Handle tax compliance and reporting requirements.· Utilize Xero for managing and analyzing financial data.· Directly liaise with clients to provide tax advice and support.· Ensure all financial documentation and reports are meticulously detailed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4+ years of experience in Australian Tax and Accounting
Proficiency in Xero and strong financial statement and tax return preparation
Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
A detail-oriented, analytical mindset and an ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
