SWE Intern (Front End)
Apex Fintech Solutions (AFS) is a leader in digital wealth management, processing millions of transactions daily to facilitate access to financial markets. They are seeking a creative and detail-oriented SWE Intern (Front End) to join their engineering team for a 10-week summer program, where the intern will work on dynamic projects, develop front-end technologies, and collaborate with experienced designers and engineers. Responsibilities Support the planning, creation, and upkeep of user interfaces and backend systems tailored for frontend development Work closely with the front-end team and product managers to establish and execute technical requirements Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and adhere to best practices Contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications Help in debugging and resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of backend services Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in backend development Skills Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field Senior standing, May 2027 graduate Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment General interest in Fintech Experience with Node or Graph QL Have a real passion for software engineering, as demonstrated by previous internships, work experience, projects, or publications Either previous knowledge in financial markets or a strong interest in learning Benefits Healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision, EAP) Competitive PTO 401k match Parental leave HSA contribution match Paid subscription to the Calm app Generous external learning and tuition reimbursement benefits Hybrid work schedule Company Overview We Insure is passionate at being the very best independent agency solution.
