Internship ProgramThe CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. The program offers:The opportunity to work on projects that truly impact the companyJourney-to-the-Job seminars with CareSource leaders to network and learn about their career pathsAn assigned mentor and access to former interns who earned full-time positions with CareSourceAn opportunity to test what you have learned and discover where you want to goThe satisfaction of working with smart and motivated people while building new skillsEssential Functions:Responsible for typical day to day actuarial tasks including but not limited to reserving, forecasting, benefit pricing, and rate analysisSummer-long project related to actuarial work. Past projects have included trend and seasonality studies, model automation and process improvement, retrospective reserve review, and pharmacy modeling. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
