Customs Trade Coordinator (2nd Shift) - Remote Opportunity

Responsibilities:
Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, and internet resources
Process import-related documentation, including data entry and submission to US Customs and participating Government Agencies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
Collaborate with internal staff, departments, and customers to deliver high levels of service
Process agency brokerage shipments and remote filings
Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 6 months of work experience (no industry experience required)
Data entry and keyboard experience required
Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner)
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high-volume work
Must be located within 50 miles of our facility in Anchorage, AK
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with data entry, information processing, and airline shipments
Experience in International Trade, Customs Trade Agent, or Brokerage
