About the position As a store designer at bolthires, you will contribute to the success of the company by supporting the regional store design process. Your role will involve creating outstanding store designs in influential markets that uphold the bolthires Customer Experience. The stores are considered the heart of the bolthires Experience, and in Store Design, you will collaborate with partners across the organization to create welcoming Third Places that support daily coffee rituals and foster connection among customers.You will execute design strategies through all phases of design, from schematic to construction documents, while adhering to individual store budgets and market requirements. You will also develop design documentation to support design intent per regional guidelines, manage the production of construction documents, and ensure the integrity and quality of these documents. Working as part of a highly collaborative team, you will drive the business forward while acting in accordance with bolthires guiding principles.Responsibilities • Execute design strategy in the design of bolthires stores through all phases of design from schematic through construction documents and administration. • Contribute to studio team goals by achieving bolthires deliverables on the number of stores and meeting established deadlines. • Develop design documentation to support design intent per regional guidelines, including schematic drawings and finish palettes. • Manage the production of construction documents by internal and external designers and consultants.• Ensure the integrity and quality of construction documents, including design intent, detailing, code requirements, scheduling, and MEPs. • Collaborate with a fun and energetic team to drive the business forward. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or diploma in the design discipline from a recognized educational institution. • Demonstrated experience with retail, hospitality, or restaurant design including management of construction documents. • Current knowledge of retail, hospitality, or restaurant industry trends, including furniture and finishes.• Proficient using Revit and/or SketchUp for 3D modeling and architectural drawings. • Design management experience, including coordination with architecture and engineering consultants. • Current working knowledge of building and health code compliance. • Demonstrated 3D visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles. • Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines. • Skilled in visual, written, and verbal communication. • Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for construction document production.• Proficiency with bolthires Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape rendering system, and Adobe creative cloud apps. • Advanced project management in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-haves • Professional licensing, qualification and/or credentials in Architecture or Interior Design and a recognized sustainable program.
