As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in our finance team, providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions and drive growth. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, analyzing financial performance, and providing insights to stakeholders. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and contribute to the development of financial plans and strategies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Analyze financial performance and provide insights to stakeholders, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting Contribute to the production of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Maintain documentation related to financial reporting processes and procedures, and ensure that all financial reports are accurate, complete, and timely Perform month-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial results Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for reporting purposes, and provide financial insights to support business decisions Identify and implement process improvements, including financial reporting tool enhancements and automation opportunities, to increase efficiency and effectiveness Support CAPEX planning, audits, and fixed asset accounting, and create and manage WBS elements to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of capital expenditures Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational foundation in accounting or finance, as well as relevant work experience in financial reporting and analysis.
