Tutor Doctor of SWNGS is seeking a highly qualified and experienced STEM Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and academic support to students of various age groups and educational levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to connect with students on an individual level.This position will involve providing one-on-one instruction to students in their homes/online or at a designated location.Responsibilities:
Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
Provide instruction in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
Teach science subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science.
Prepare students for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT, including test-taking strategies and practice exams.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns.
Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.
Requirements:
Bachelorās degree in Education, Mathematics, Science or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in tutoring or teaching SAT/ACT test prep.
In-depth knowledge of the SAT/ACT exams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with curriculum development and educational resources.
Ability to work with students of all ages and academic levels.
Patient, positive, and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching.
Reliable transportation to travel to and from studentsā homes.
