Job Details:
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible hours)
Location: Fully Remote
Caseload: PreK-12 students with diverse communication needs
Contract Type: 1099
Pay Rate: $41-46 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
Conduct virtual speech therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into educational plans.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary.
Attend IEP meetings and provide input on communication goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Active SLP license in Florida.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based setting preferred.
Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
