Staff Accountant (Mid-Level)

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Responsibilities Advanced knowledge of the department's SOPs and ability to identify the connection between the different processes across Vensure. Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly close transactional review. G/L posting, fixed assets/depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities support. Assisting in audit preparation and responses. Attention to detail and assisting the team leader in controlling accounting associates. Providing active support in the training of the team itself and in the analysis of complex cases and doubt resolution. Providing feedback and suggestions to improve processes efficiency. Reviewing compliance with KPI's and assisting team leaders in internal reports. Natural curiosity - will research and figure out possible requests. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
