Key Responsibilities
Partner with various teams to support the execution of the monthly close cycle.
Prepare and post general journal entries, maintaining accurate records and files.
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current practices and recommending improvements.
Prepare and analyze accrual-based financial statements, including trend and variance analyses.
Maintain detailed reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
Experience: Experience in the healthcare or public accounting environment is preferred.
Skills: Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with management and team members.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy, conciseness, and strong attention to detail are crucial.
Team Player: Ability to function well as part of a high-performance team with a positive attitude.
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
Organizational Skills: Excellent work habits with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering accurate results.
