If so, we're seeking an inventive and collaborative Sr. Product Manager - Tech to join the Alexa Smart Home Devices team. Our charter is to create and launch innovative products globally that make the lives of our customers better.As a Sr. Product Manager - Tech, you will be responsible for ideating, developing, launching, and sustaining new smart home devices. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, marketing, user research, and finance among other teams. You will also drive regular roadmap and strategy reviews with senior leadership.A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products that customers love. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy, with a proven track record of creating successful consumer electronics.Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end definition and execution for new smart home devices.
- Drive the development of the strategy, roadmap, and business plan for your product area, and drive alignment with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Become a domain expert through daily use of prototypes and complementary products.
- Be a passionate advocate for the customer; understand and articulate customer needs, and conduct ongoing customer research.
- Research and understand the capabilities and limitations of advanced sensing, vision, display, and generative AI technologies and their impact on the customer experience.
- Write requirements documents, define use cases and customer experience, and own the business metrics and KPIs for your products.
- Drive product launches, including working with public relations, marketing, sales, and other go-to-market team members.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
