SENIOR INSURANCE BUSINESS ANALYST – REMOTE We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep insurance domain experience to support complex transformation initiatives. In this role, you’ll bridge business and technology, lead detailed requirements and process analysis, and help modernize insurance capabilities while ensuring regulatory compliance, business readiness, and successful change adoption. Here is what a typical day looks like Lead the planning and defining the project scope maintaining that approach and deliverables align within the overall context of the project Working effectively with various stakeholders to gather requirements for projects Own and maintain Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), including scope, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints Independently facilitate requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, process observation, surveys, prototypes, and user stories Partner with QA and business teams to define test strategies, UAT scenarios, and facilitate UAT execution Support business case development, feasibility analysis, and strategic prioritization Contribute to change impact assessments, training materials, SOPs, and user adoption activities Mentor and support junior Business Analysts through knowledge sharing and best practices The Value you bring Designation such as CBAP preferred, PBA- PMI, CCBA or Lean Six Sigma are considered an asset Minimum 7 years’ progressive experience in a similar role, ideally within the Insurance Industry University degree/diploma in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating constructive, well-articulated problem resolution and facilitation skills Role Details Hours/Duration: Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours/week Location: Remote options available across Canada Current Vacancy: Yes Requisition #: 82784 Compensation Range: $68,500 – $95,000 Why Western?
