Associate Bioinformatics Engineer, Prenatal

Associate Bioinformatics Engineer, BillionToOne, Inc., Menlo Park, CA. Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines in a regulated environment to help scale up the company's oncology diagnostics business. Play a critical role in operation by analyzing patients' genomic data for clinical reports delivery. Troubleshoot lab and software issues in production and communicate findings to key stakeholders. Telecommuting is permitted from within a normal commuting distance. Employee must report to HQ at least 50% of working time. Requirements: BS in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Bioengineering, Physics or related field and 2 years of experience in a quantitative field such as computational biology or bioinformatics either in industry or academia. Must also possess: 2 years of experience in genomics either in academia or industry; 2 years of experience with Python programming; and 2 years of experience with next generation sequencing.
