SQL Developer/Tester Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Duration: 6 months Department manage the entire data lifecycle, collaborating with investment programs to extract valuable insights and enhance data integrity and availability. Seeking for an experienced SQL Developer/Tester to support ongoing business initiatives. Scope of Work: • Provide SQL support for development, performance tuning, testing, and documentation. • Develop SQL stored procedures and queries, and support ETL packages with SSIS. • Enhance performance by reviewing SQL queries and execution plans. • Propose alternatives for data manipulation, such as converting Excel tasks to SSIS packages. • Review and improve SQL development processes like code promotion and code reviews. • Create and execute test plans and cases for reports and workflows. Must-Have Skills: • 5 years of experience in SQL database development and programming • 3 years in a QA/testing role • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Experience writing technical documentation • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team Preferred Skills: • Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate • Knowledge of data governance best practices • Experience in the investment/financial market industry Apply tot his job
