What You Will Be Doing • Delivering energizing morning sessions that set the tone and focus for student-athletes each day • Conducting one-on-one motivational meetings centered on academic and personal development • Guiding life skills workshops through storytelling, guided reflection, and hands-on coaching methods • Directing afternoon training sessions designed to instill resilience, collaboration, and personal responsibility • Monitoring individual progress and maintaining rigorous expectations for both mindset and achievement Basic Requirements Sports Performance Coach key responsibilities • We are looking for former elite athletes with credentials at the highest competitive level — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans • Bachelor's degree in any field • Documented experience leveraging sport to mentor others and teach life skills • Track record of motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship • Available to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX About Sports Academy Texas Sports Academy is Where Future Champions Excel in Academics and Athletics Traditional schools force student-athletes to choose between excelling in academics or committing to their sport. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
