Data Center Senior Commissioning Engineer
We are hiring a Senior Commissioning Engineer to supervise and execute commissioning activities for data center systems.
This role combines technical expertise with team leadership and is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute commissioning and testing according to project scripts and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; support root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Lead and participate in site testing, pre-checks, and functional and performance verification.
- Oversee team members on site and maintain accurate documentation and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and site protocols.
- Work with project managers, contractors, and client representatives; proactively manage risks and project deliverables.
- Provide timely progress updates, review technical documentation, and drive process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a technical field.
- 5+ years of commissioning, testing, and site leadership experience in data center space.
- Understanding of ASHRAE commissioning procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small technical teams in fast-paced project environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, including internationally.
