The Amazon Business Solutions Consulting team is dedicated to understanding our Customers source to pay processes and systems in order to blueprint solutions that make it easier to buy on Amazon Business. The Solution Consulting team establishes technical and functional credibility in sales cycles, and conveys best practices and prescriptive guidance for procurement processes and system design via direct customer/partner interaction. They help drive the evolution of Amazon Business platforms and technologies by providing direct input and feedback from the field to internal product and tech teams. The candidate will work closely with the Sales, Implementation, Product, and Tech teams. The ideal candidate has experience developing relationships across functional areas such as Procurement, Finance, and IT and has a proven track record of managing and troubleshooting data integration projects.
Key job responsibilities
Engage with the largest and most complex customers, consisting of the Fortune 500
Gain a deep understanding of our customers source to pay processes and systems to ensure we can provide a viable solution that meets their goals with Amazon Business
Recommend solutions to help customers adopt complex business features
Identify potential risks / gaps and propose potential workarounds
Work closely with sales team to provide status updates and insights learned during discovery with the customer
Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical, and Category Management teams
Collaborate and influence key internal Amazon stakeholders
About The Team
The Solution Consulting teams sits within the Amazon Business Professional Services (ProServe) organization. Our mission is to accelerate our Customers success, adoption, and spend. We accomplish this by guiding their journey with tools and services while building their confidence with insights and trusted resources. AB ProServe has continued to extend beyond its historical focus of solely implementing Customers, to a team that supports Customers throughout their lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
Experience translating customer needs into business requirements
Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- Knowledge of procurement, procure to pay (P2P), and source to pay methods at enterprise businesses
- 2+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- 5+ years of implementing procurement and source-to-pay processes and solutions for enterprise customers
- Experience with change management

The base salary for this position ranges from $61,700/year up to $103,000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
