Software Tester for night testing (WV, DE, LA states)
Join Testlio for a quick and exciting project in which we aim to test a wagering app in various US states: Delaware, Louisiana and West Virginia. We have partnered with a wagering app who regularly updates their product every two weeks. This happens around 3:30 AM US local time, during low-traffic periods, which is why we are looking for testers who would be available during this time to perform smoke testing on iOS mobile, Android Mobile and Web. Pay rate: The pay rate for this workspace is $30 USD / h. Here are some examples of the tasks you'll be asked to perform: - Launching the product on your available platform(s). - Using provided test account(s) to access the wagering area as instructed. You will not be asked to use consumer accounts. - Checking the basic functionalities of the app, such as checking statuses, basic app navigation, etc. - Capturing and reporting any functional issues, crashes, obvious UI defects, or blocking problems. - Providing concise notes and evidence (screenshots / screen recordings if requested in the run). To be selected for this opportunity you must be: • 18 years or older • Have an iPhone/Android Phone or Web (Laptop/Windows PC). You will need at least 2 devices (For example: 1 iPhone + 1 laptop or 1 iPhone + 1 Android phone or 1 Android Phone + Windows PC) • Located in Delaware, Louisiana or West Virginia In able to access the materials that you will be reviewing, you will first be asked to create an account on our website, Testlio. With this tester profile we will be able to assign your task. However, your payment method will be set up through Upwork. You will be asked to allocate 10-30 minutes to create this account, and we will share the exact steps you need to take once the contract is signed. Once you're set up, someone from our Testing team will reach out to you with next steps. Testlio account setup: 10-30 minutes Testing task time: 3:30 AM US Local time. The next test run will take place Tuesday 30th December! Please do not apply if you are unable to participate at this hour for this project.
