You have the exciting challenge of working with cutting-edge research and technology with a focus on the market's needs. To support you on this challenge, our products have software architects, product managers, project managers, formal methods specialists and QA test engineers, with whom you must communicate professionally, effectively and efficiently.Follow agile software development practicesWork with teams across multiple time zonesWork independently on software development tasksUses systematic debugging to diagnose all issues within a set of related domains and leads in fostering a culture of observability and monitoring across several teamsIs a technical and prioritisation leader across a set of related team's domains, consistently pushing boundaries and exploring gaps in understanding.Be proactive and require minimal supervision or mentoring to complete tasksReview specifications produced by architects and formal methods specialistsContribute to the design of algorithmsWrite clean, straightforward, efficient code that satisfies previously agreed acceptance criteria and specificationsCommit often and submit small pull requests frequentlyCover your code with unit, property and integration tests when applicableReview the pull requests of your team matesFix bugs in your own code and in legacy code from othersBe available for emergency fixing of severity 1 issues on deployed productsIntegrate software components and third-party librariesVerify and deploy programs and systemsTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing softwareWrite documentation for the codeWrite technical user manualsBe knowledgeable of distributed and concurrent computationBe knowledgeable of the basics of cryptographyImplement new features of the stablecoin protocol and additional productsDesign and implement testing strategies for stablecoin and other productsSynchronize with the technical manager to validate the roadmapIdentify opportunities for improving productivity and robustness through refactorings / adoption of industry best practicesTranslate specifications into concrete designs, considering architectural design and security aspectsPair program with other team members, aiming to collaborate and educateLiaise with operations and UI teams to ensure that all aspects of product quality are consideredOccasionally work on prototypes to try out new features in an experimental settingEstimate & prioritize work items and break them down into smaller tasksRequirementsWho you are:Degree in Computer Science is desirable but not essential A minimum of 2-3 years development experience (professional or otherwise) in HaskellExperience working with Git and Git workflowPractical experience with Agile software development methodsKnowledge of functional and object-oriented programming paradigmsGood understanding of Haskell type system, libraries and GHC runtime & performanceAbility to work in a team and collaborate across different time zones and levels of experienceExceptional ability to communicate ideas in writing. Must be able to implement formal specificationsAbility to understand project needs, objectives and timescales to feed into planning and setting deadlines for a specific stream.
