The anticipated salary range for this role is between $97,000.00 and $156,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. Imagine helping to build and design an entire Digital Business Unit for Online Banking. We have a great opportunity for an innovative and effective Software Engineer.
We are seeking a strong Software Engineer for our Middleware/API engineering team. This team is responsible for building the Customer facing Omni Channel Services using Java, Kotlin. In this role, you will work as engineer in an agile team and collaborate with product owner, designer, and QA to design, build & maintain digital bank.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Applying design patterns in developing scalable and highly performant application/features
? Writing code and unit tests, automation, code reviews and testing
? Deploying to production and dev ops
? Work with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
? Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.
? Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor's degree in related field required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
? 2+ years of Java/ functional programming experience is a must.
? Knowledge of Kotlin and GraphQL is a plus.
? At least 1 year of experience with Cloud stack, Microsoft Azure etc. is a must.
? Experience designing and supporting customer facing RESTful APIs.
? Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
? Good understanding of design concepts and design patterns
? Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
? Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts.
? Team player, self-starter, and passion for programming.
? Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, product, and experience owners.
? Experience with CICD tools and dev ops
? Experience with financial services is a plus.
