About Civilian
Civilian is an innovative fashion brand with a mission: saving lives through stylish, bulletproof apparel. (Yes, the clothes are literally bulletproof.) We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media & Content Intern to help us amplify our message, connect with our audience, and build a strong online presence.
What You’ll Do
As a Social Media & Content Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping our brand’s digital voice and growing our community.
Content Creation & Strategy
• Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Develop a content calendar aligned with Civilian’s mission and marketing goals.
• Write snappy, bold captions and compelling copy that resonates with our audience.
• Assist with creating visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. (We're not that picky for what software you use, the results are more important to us.)
Community Engagement
• Interact with followers to build engagement and loyalty.
• Monitor comments and messages, ensuring timely responses.
• Research and implement strategies to increase follower count and interaction.
• (We would love to know who you look up to when it comes to social media!)
Campaign Development
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute social media campaigns.
• Experiment with new content formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, UGC-style videos) to drive growth.
• Be best friends with storytelling.
• Track trends and insights to keep Civilian ahead in the social space.
Analytics & Reporting
• Use tools like Meta Business Suite and social media analytics to track performance.
• Provide regular reports on engagement, growth, and key metrics.
• Suggest improvements based on data insights.
What We’re Looking For
• A student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Creator at heart
• Creative and passionate about storytelling, branding, and social media.
• Strong understanding of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
