We have workrooms across the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest.Our MissionWe provide exceptional customer experiences through our passion for serving others.Our VisionWe strive to improve the lives of our employees, customers, and contractors in the communities we serve every day.Our ValuesStewardshipPeopleIntegrityGrowthProduction SpecialistThe Production Specialist reports to the Production Manager & Review/Refigure Supervisor and is responsible for reviewing and refiguring flooring estimation measurements for accuracy.FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exemptEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Strong verbal and written communication skillsTechnologically savvy - able to use a computer and software used to perform calculationsAbility to perform mathematical computationsReliable internet connectivity since this position will work from homeAbility to focus on job tasks undisturbedMinimum 6 months flooring/estimation/construction experienceAvailability: 7 days (Rotating schedule)Weekend work schedule is requiredQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or Experience – Minimum of 6 months reviewing measurements and contracts, preferably within the millwork, construction, or manufacturing industry. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must involve customer service management.Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure for basic algebraic and geometric calculationsReasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills – Knowledge of computer workstations and peripheral equipment; knowledge of database, spreadsheet, email, and word processing software.Technology – Cilio, PDF Editing Software, and Microsoft OfficeCommunication Skills –- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.Availability - Be able to work Saturday and Sunday schedule on a regular schedule.Vision – Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents.Special skills required—Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to organize and manage within time constraints. Working knowledge of building codes, materials, industry, and products. Ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.Special knowledge required - Ability to use a calculator and computer. Knowledge of installation of windows and doors. General construction knowledge preferred.
