We believe that a committed team that works well together can accomplish great things. • *About the Position:** As a key member of the Transaction Readiness team, the Senior Transaction Advisor will work with our clients throughout the exit planning process to increase the likelihood of a successful transaction. • *Responsibilities:** • Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations • Work directly with clients to obtain, review, analyze, and present financial data • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and interpret complex financial data to provide meaningful insights to business owners • Develop financial models and forecasting tools to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure the accuracy of financial information. • Help drive the monthly close process and provide executive-facing commentary & analysis on performance • Consolidate and analyze financial information and trends and communicate results and recommendations to management • Play a key role in the preparation of strategic and long-range plans • Create and drive the adoption of improved financial processes and policies through teaming with multiple stakeholder groups • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement • Analyze net working capital requirements and reporting and prepare purchase price adjustments related to business transactions • *Qualifications:** • Previous M&A transaction experience required • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience building and maintaining financial models • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to communicate drivers effectively to all levels of the organization • Excellent communication skills and comfort with presenting ideas and asking questions to senior executives • Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity is a plus, including experience with Quality of Earnings analysis • Ability to adhere to firm deadlines • Tech savvy with expert Excel skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience • Milestone offers competitive compensation and benefits, paid time away from work benefits, and a flexible work environment.
