Senior Project Manager – Identity and Access Management (IAM)

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Connecticut (USA) Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager – Identity and Access Management with our consumer finance lender firm client in their Woodbury, NY location. This is a 6 month + contract 100% remote position. Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead strategic Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across the enterprise. This role is critical to ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems and data, aligning with regulatory standards and business objectives. Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end IAM project delivery, from planning through execution and closure • Oversee implementation of IAM solutions including provisioning, authentication, authorization, and governance • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Compliance, IT, and Business Units • Ensure alignment with financial regulatory requirements and internal governance policies • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources using Agile methodologies • Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups using Jira • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership Requirements: • 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in IAM or cybersecurity projects • Proven experience in the finance industry, with understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GLBA) • Strong knowledge of IAM technologies and frameworks (e.g., RBAC, SSO, MFA, PAM) • Expertise in Agile project management and hands-on experience with Jira • PMP, CISM, or CISSP certification preferred • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
