We seek an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for both web and mobile applications, using Playwright (JavaScript) and WebdriverIO. You will be responsible for ensuring high product quality through automation best practices, test strategy implementation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Test Automation Development Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript) for web applications. Build and maintain mobile automation frameworks with WebdriverIO. Develop reusable test utilities, page object models, and helper functions. Test Strategy & Execution Define test strategy, scope, and approach for new features and releases. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and UX to ensure testability of requirements. Execute automated regression, functional, and integration tests. Quality Engineering Practices Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). Monitor, debug, and optimize test execution for reliability and performance. Analyze test results, log defects, and verify fixes. Collaboration & Mentorship Work closely with manual QA to increase automation coverage. Mentor junior automation engineers on coding standards and best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in automation. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation. Proven experience with Playwright for web automation. Proven experience with WebdriverIO for mobile automation (Android & iOS). Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and test framework architecture. Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, Supertest, or Playwright API). Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. ISTQB or similar certification is a plus. Nice to Have Experience with Allure or other test reporting tools. Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter). Familiarity with containerization (Docker) for test environments. Experience with cloud-based device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
