We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Payment Analyst to join our Corporate Payment Analysis Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements to support timely and accurate payments to vendors. About the Role:
The Senior Payment Analyst will work closely with department leadership, Procurement, Toyota Plants, Accounting & Finance Leadership, and Suppliers to provide support for exception processing, resolve payment issues, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to support timely and accurate payments to vendors
Lead resolution research and respond to external and internal customer inquiries related to payment issues
Upload or enter invoices to SAP, clear Global Netting transitions, process voids, and reissue payments
Support system implementation, User Acceptance Testing, and IT break-fix testing and enhancements
Perform key SOX controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations
Respond to internal and external audit requests, providing documentation and explanation to auditors
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, or other finance-related roles
Proven analytical, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
