We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to provide guidance and support to our 1st Line of Defense (1LoD) teams in managing operational risk. As a key member of our Enterprise Control Management Utility, you will play a crucial role in promoting a risk-aware culture across the organization and ensuring that our processes are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to 1LoD teams in executing operational risk management plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Communicate and translate 2LoD established Operational Risk Programs to 1LoD Business Units, ensuring a strong and consistent understanding of the program's purpose and execution
Facilitate the understanding and use of the risk governance framework across Business Units through regular communication and training
Support the sharing of risk management insights, best practices, themes, and trends across the enterprise
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous
4+ years of experience in developing and implementing operational risk management programs and policy frameworks
Deep understanding of relevant regulations and proven success working with external regulators
Strong communication and collaboration skills within a matrix organization
