As Senior Manager for the Disney Stores, North America, you will lead, inspire, and empower a team of Store Managers and their Cast. You will oversee a Team Store Managers in our Brick and Mortar stores across the United States including our Flagship in Times Square, and the Studio Store on the Walt Disney Studio lot. You will also build a strategy to ensure our Guests have “The Best Retail Experience in the World.” This will be through leading, empowering, and holding the Store Manager Team accountable for store engagement, visual presentations, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for driving results that meet all financial goals and ensure profitability. This role also fosters relationships with multiple cross-functional partners that directly influence our store teams. You will report to the General Manager - Disney Store, North America.

What You Will Do:
• Lead, inspire, develop, and deliver feedback to the Store Managers who oversee our stores
• Actively coach and develop the Stores Team in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partner
• Develop and build bench strength to fill open positions in a timely manner
• Ensure the stores exceed the standards set forth by Walt Disney Co. in how we engage with our Guests and operate each location on a day-to-day basis
• Proactively communicate with stores and office partners information that will affect the business and operations of the stores
• Facilitate the group of partners with direct contact with stores and their leaders and ensure a strong collaborative environment
• Drive the business with full accountability for the KPIs, products (both full price and clearance), and day-to-day operational excellence in the store
• Translate KPIs into actions for the store team in order to meet financial goals
• Be agile in adjusting to changing business needs
• Understand the businesss seasonal priorities to develop a strategy for our store teams
• Be solution-oriented and proactively identify operational and/or address emergency issues and report them to the correct partner(s)
• Be an advocate for the business and have the ability to communicate a point of view with multiple audiences
• Build high team morale and commitment by having a strong in-store culture

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• 6+ years of related experience in retail stores
• Successful experience working and thriving in the business
• Multi-store retail experience in an environment (This includes managing from afar and empowering the teams to meet their goals)
• Self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguity
• Leadership experience guiding and motivating a team of leaders in a business
• Strong Team player with the ability to build and foster collaborative partnerships internally and externally
• Strong customer engagement and merchandising skills
• A thorough understanding of the metrics in a retail business and how to drive profitability
• Solution-oriented and able to proactively identify opportunities

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $137,200.00 to $183,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
