Senior IT Operations Engineer, Enterprise Engineering

The Enterprise Engineering (EE) team is an employee-facing team with a mission to provide Vantan’s with a secure and stellar experience with the tools and technologies they need to do their best work, regardless of where they are.This role will be the first point of contact for our international Vantan’s and ensure that every Vantan gets the support they need regardless of their timezone.What you’ll do as an IT Operations Engineer at Vanta:Support the day to day IT needs of our Vantan’s such as helpdesk requests, onboarding, access management and asset managementHelp establish appropriate policies and best practices for IT operationsHelp create processes and workflows that are scalable, repeatable, and most importantly – secureManage installations, upgrades, and configurations of our company owned devicesWork with cross functional stakeholders to identify areas of opportunities within the IT spaceDevelop and nurture strong customer relationships with key business stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity for improvementsCreate and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for internal processes, tools, and workflowsHow to be successful in this role:Communicate clearly and confidently, translating technical issues into approachable languageProvide timely, thoughtful support with a strong focus on the end-user experienceBring hands-on experience with SaaS tools like Google Workspace, and know how to scale them effectivelyUnderstand identity and access management best practices, ideally with experience using OktaComfortable supporting macOS environments and managing a distributed device fleet (bonus points for Jamf experience)Collaborate effectively across teams, building strong relationships with partners in People, Security, Workplace, and other key teamsThrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting prioritiesTake initiative and operate effectively with minimal oversightAbility to work in our London office in a hybrid setting (3 days a week)What you can expect as a Vantan:Industry-competitive salary and equity100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage16 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents (birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive)Health & wellness stipendRemote workspace stipendCommuter benefits for team members who attend the officePension matching25 days of PTO per year and unlimited sick time8 company paid holidaysVirtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events!At Vanta, we are committed to hiring diverse talent of different backgrounds and as such, it is important to us to provide an inclusive work environment for all.
