Senior Instructional Designer – InDesign Expert (Customer Success / Sales a Plus)
We’re building a modern Customer Success Series and are looking for a hands-on instructional designer to support the creation of high-quality participant materials.
This engagement will focus on supporting the build of an 8-course, instructor-led Customer Success program, with a strong emphasis on interactive and print-ready materials designed in Adobe InDesign.
About the Project
The series is designed to elevate how customer-facing teams engage, retain, and grow accounts. The program consists of 8 instructor-led modules and will be delivered in both in-person and virtual formats.
You will join during the build phase to help bring the learner experience to life through thoughtful, well-designed participant materials. This role is focused on design and build; you will not be responsible for writing core instructional content.
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll primarily support the design and development of:
Participant workbooks (interactive + print-ready), built in Adobe InDesign
Digital and physical participant journals that accompany the full series
Layouts, templates, and visual systems that feel cohesive across all modules
Interactive elements that support reflection, exercises, and application (not just static content)
You’ll collaborate closely with:
Our Product team
An internal instructional designer who is leading learning architecture and content decisions
Strategic direction, learning objectives, and source content will be provided. Your role is to translate that into polished, learner-centered materials and bring creative ideas to the team.
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
Is very strong in Adobe InDesign and comfortable designing long-form documents
Has experience creating both print and interactive digital materials
Enjoys working with a high degree of autonomy and creative ownership
Can take rough concepts or drafts and elevate them into engaging, professional materials
Is comfortable partnering cross-functionally with Product and Instructional Design
Thrives in a build environment where things are evolving and decisions are made collaboratively
