About the position
Responsibilities
• Leading the team in charge of monthly variance analysis preparation.
• Working closely with operations to develop high-quality communication of actual results and forecasts.
• Managing three direct reports, including General Accounting, Financial Reporting/Property, and Budget/AFE/Special Projects.
Requirements
• Upstream Oil and Gas experience is a must; other industries will not be considered for this role.
• 8 plus years of accounting experience from exploration and production accounting experience.
• CPA is a plus.
• Prior Public Accounting experience.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge in general accounting and internal reporting.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
