We are unable to sponsor at this time Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent work experience. • 4+ years of high-tech industry/product engineering/IT experience. • 3-5 years of experience with: • Node.js (TypeScript, Express) • Angular • React (preferred) • MySQL or other relational databases • MongoDB or other NoSQL databases • Unix, RedHat Linux or derivatives (preferred) • Developing enterprise-wide software solutions (preferred) • Custom business applications (preferred) • Perl (preferred) • Apache (preferred) • Business Intelligence, Big Data, or analytics (preferred) • Experience with git version control • Experience in the education industry or working with educational data (preferred) Responsibilities • Design, build, and support learning systems applications and 3rd party product integrations. • Develop, test, document, and implement high-quality learning system applications based on specifications and requirements. • Analyze and correct performance deficiencies in programs. • Adhere to development standards to ensure code maintainability for team development. • Modify software applications or architecture to resolve issues and accommodate future growth. • Participate in code reviews and necessary meetings. • Develop effective working relationships with other departments and groups. • Provide weekly status reports to IT supervisors. • Meet professional obligations, including deadlines, schedules, and resource coordination.
