Senior EU Ecommerce Operations Consultant – 3PL + VAT + Marketplace Expansion
Overview
We are an established ecommerce company (700–1000 orders/day) shipping mainly to NL/DE/FR.
We are transitioning from direct dropshipping to:
• Stocking bestsellers in a Polish 3PL
• Structuring VAT correctly
• Launching on Amazon.nl and bol.com
We are looking for a senior consultant who has executed this type of setup multiple times and can take ownership of coordination and implementation.
What You Will Do
• Review and validate 3PL proposals
• Lead structured communication with selected 3PL
• Define VAT structure together with VAT provider
• Identify required registrations and compliance steps
• Coordinate warehouse onboarding
• Prepare roadmap for marketplace expansion
• Identify operational risks before scaling
• Help us determine how to make 3PL + marketplace expansion profitable. At first glance margins look tight and we need someone who can properly model and validate the economics.
Engagement
• Hourly contract
• 10–20 hours per week
• 4–6 weeks initial engagement
• Direct collaboration with founder
Required Experience
You must have:
• Real-world experience setting up EU 3PL operations
• Experience with Poland or CEE warehousing
• Strong VAT + OSS knowledge
• Marketplace launch experience (Amazon EU and/or bol.com)
• Experience with 500+ orders per day ecommerce businesses
• Done this more than once. We are not looking for someone learning on this project.
