- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience.

- Writing code for simple system designs and enhancing existing programs.
- Creating simple technical specifications for single programs.
- Collaborating with other Developers in a DB2 environment.
- Supporting provider and pharmacy applications for the clients business partner.

As a COBOL Developer, I will be part of a business-critical applications project with company-wide-visibility for one of our enterprise-level clients in the health insurance space. Joining a large, collaborative team of software engineers, I will support provider and pharmacy applications for our clients business partner. I will be working alongside the provider and pharmacy teams and assisting in additional mission-critical application projects throughout my time using COBOL on these distributed applications. This is an extremely collaborative team where I will need to move quickly, diligently, and pay extreme attention to detail. This project will also give me solid experience in insurance, which is one of our oldest national industries.
This job is a Long-term Contract for a Remote position and offers a pay of $45.00 - $55.00 per hour. The expected hours are 40 per week. The benefits include dental insurance, health insurance, and vision insurance. The experience level required is 7-11 years, and the work location is Remote. I require a Bachelors degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience.
