Senior Angular Developer - Remote (WFH)
We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer to support the VA T4NG Consolidated Corporate Support Services (CCSS) program serving our Department of Veterans Affairs Corporate Portfolio clients across the entire U.S. The Developer role will need to have AngularJS and SQL experience.
Responsibilities Include...
Ā Design, development and testing of new features in the applications. Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process. Implement, test, and bug-fix for functionality. Responsible for the design and implementation of software projects using C#.
Ā Designs and develops advanced Angular-based web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Ā Collaborates with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
Ā Develops and integrates reusable Angular components, services, and modules to optimize code efficiency.
Ā Conducts code reviews to ensure the quality, scalability, and security of the application.
Ā Takes ownership of projects and guide the team in delivering high-quality solutions on time.
Ā Defines and implements best practices for coding standards, performance optimization, and testing strategies.
Ā Writes clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
Ā Works closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other services into the Angular application.
Ā Optimizes application performance, especially in interactions with APIs and data rendering.
Ā Debug and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
Ā Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
Ā Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Ā Works under general direction on routine work. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Ā Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
Required Skills:
Ā AngularJS version 10 (at least) or up to/including 14 (minimum of 4 years experience with Angular)
Ā Basic HTML5 and CSS3, JavaScript 5.x, TypeScript 4.x, Bootstrap 5.x, JQuery 3.6.x
Ā MS SQL Server (ability to write stored procedures, understand SQL, create tables, and manage DBs)
Ā Visual Studio knowledge (versions 2019 Ā 2022)
Ā Proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced features like generics, decorators, and type annotations
Ā Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) concepts, including promises, async/await, and restructuring
Ā Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, handling API requests, and managing HTTP interceptors in Angular.
Ā Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth) in web applications
Ā Ability to work / collaborate with a team
Ā Strong work ethic with ability to self-manage workload and deliverables under tight deadlines
Ā Self-starter with a positive attitude and very good interpersonal skills
Required Education, Experience, and Clearance:
Ā Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience
