We’re opening a unique Dyson Demo Zone in Chadstone Shopping Centre which will increase awareness of Dyson technology and educate shoppers through expert advice, product demonstrations and styling bars. This is a fixed term contract. The Demo Zone will operate for 18 months and will cover the Shopping Centres’ trading hours. About the Role Our Assistant Store Manager will support the Store manager leading a team in a completely unique experience. The Assistant Store Manager will support building, training and leading a team of service-oriented, passionate and ambitious Retail Experts to deliver outstanding owner experiences – fascinating customers through presentation and demonstration of our machines while also delivering world-class service and support for our current owners. Main responsibilities include but not limited to:- Support the Store Manager in regard to operations, staffing, training, and customer service Lead, inspire and challenge a team to deliver an optimal owner experience – focusing on strengthening experience, education and cultivating a community of Dyson owners Lead by example and support your team to deliver an environment that heroes our machines, delivering best in class demonstrations and experiences Taking personal responsibility for achieving individual and store based KPIs, including daily, weekly and monthly sales, customer service and store profitability targets Launch new products and services Continuously build product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments, while supporting the store team to do the same Promote and build a positive work culture Embossing Gift Wrapping Complete any tasks that are related to the running and operation of the Store, including cleaning and tidying of communal areas About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate integrity in all of your decisions and actions, have a passion for developing individuals and the ability to shape long term plans into short term tactical steps. You are passionate about delivering brand and product experiences and have a sense of ownership, committed to the delivery of projects.
