SUPERVISORY ORGANIZATION: Send Network Mobilization POSITION TITLE: Send Network Church Mobilization Strategist REPORTS TO: Director of Sending Churches LOCATION: Alpharetta or Remote EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Exempt Full-Time THIS POSITION INVOLVES PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Yes THIS POSITION INVOLVES MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: No This position will support NAMB’s ministry objectives to catalyze the development of Send Network (SN) churches toward multiplication through creating, executing and supporting experiences and resources to help churches take next steps along the church mobilization pathway. MINISTERIAL QUALIFICATIONS • All staff positions are considered ministerial in nature due to the purpose and mission of the North American Mission Board. • Due to the ministerial nature and duties of this role a clear and compelling sense of God’s call to ministry leadership must be expressed and in evidence. Ephesians 4:1, 11-13; Acts 13:2; Ephesians 3:8. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: • Develop relationship with churches and Send Network staff to identify roadblocks holding back churches from sending and multiplying. • Gather and analyze church mobilization data and trends to identify best practices to support mobilization efforts and follow-up strategies by diagnosing the developmental needs of churches. • Create and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of existing church mobilization initiatives and recommend adjustments. • Develop, pilot, and execute new scalable strategies to help churches take next steps, such as new resources, best practices for follow-up, coaching, and workshops. • Collaborate with churches to create a strategy to move them to the next step of planting. • Walk alongside churches during mobilization, providing coaching, training, pastoral support to help them achieve their church planting goals. • Connect churches with other sending churches and multiplying churches for additional support and resources to ensure they have long-term success in mobilization. • Maintain relationships with sending churches, celebrate their success, and engage them to mentor and coach other churches as they move toward sending. • Collaborate with Church Mobilization team and SN staff to implement strategies nationally. • Support the Church Mobilization team by engaging with pastors and leaders. • Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Master’s degree (M.A. or MDiv) or equivalent; or eight or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
