Seeking a Bookkeeper - Contract to Hire
BOOKKEEPER JOB SCOPE: I am seeking someone who is experienced to hit the ground running with clean-up activities.
Execute, as applicable, processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable management, bookkeeping data entries, closing the books monthly as well as preparing financial reporting and analysis
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practice
Be committed to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working on client data.
Handle payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as necessary
Work on multiple accounts at a time
Participate in 1:1 weekly check-in meeting to ensure we are aligned with our objectives & goals
Participate in coaching/training sessions if deemed necessary
Commitment to working part-time hours each week and meeting deliverable due dates to complete tasks
Willing to complete QuickBooks Online Pro-advisor training if not certified
A successful candidate will:
Have the ability to communicate clearly & fluently in English
Have exceptional time management skills, and organizational skills
Have the ability to meet hard deadlines
Have a great work ethic
Have critical thinking & problem-solving skills
Be proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software such as zoom, Microsoft Suites applications, etc.
Qualifications:
Current QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor or willing to complete self-training online
CPA equivalent preferred but not required
4-year degree preferred
