Position Summary:
The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Education/License/Certification:
ā¢ * Masters, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution of higher education
ā¢ Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy in OR
Experience/Requirements:
ā¢ * Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
ā¢ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
ā¢ Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
ā¢ Ability to work under pressure.
ā¢ Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
ā¢ Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
ā¢ Excellent communication ā verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Responsive to requests.
ā¢ Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.
