Dental Patient Relations Specialist

Join our team as a Patient Relations Specialist, enhancing patient experience across our offices in Brooklyn and Queens. Join a team that is focused on delivering the best patient experience to ensure that our patients keep returning for their oral health care.

Salary: $30,000-300,000

Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve patient feedback and concerns promptly and efficiently via phone, text, and email.

- Own and manage all patient feedback programs, working closely with the team. Implement strategies to resolve conflicts and enhance patient satisfaction.

- Collaborate with the team to develop reporting mechanisms and communication processes. Identify performance improvement opportunities for team members.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, and addressing inquiries

- Resolving complaints, and ensuring patient satisfaction and retention.

- Assisting with insurance and financial discussions

- Discussing and presenting treatment plans

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years in a dental office setting.

- Proficiency in Dental Software (Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, OpenDental)

- Proficiency in Software (Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana)

- Knowledge of dental insurances, including PPO, DMO, DHMO (Capitation), and NYS Managed Care Programs

- Understanding of in-network/out-of-network benefits and fee-for-service models.

- Strong knowledge of third party financing; Lending Club, Alphaeon, Care Credit, etc.

- Familiarity with general dentistry and orthodontics procedures and treatments.

- Experience in Customer Service or Patient Relations

- Ability to Handle Confidential Information

- Proficient in data entry and analysis, with experience using Excel and other similar programs.
