SAP Finance and Controlling SME | HYBRID
Work Location: HYBRID - White Plains, NY (Tues & Wed in office)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO-PA) Expert Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP FI/CO modules, with a strong background in configuration, maintenance, testing, integrating SAP with other applications and translating business requirements into technical solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, as it involves constant interaction with business users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Extensive experience with SAP, including hands-on configuration in SAP FI(GL, AP, AR, TR) and SAP CO-PA(Controlling and Profitability Analysis) and integration with multiple modules, (including at least SD/MM).
• Hands on Experience working with Batch Jobs, Variants, IDOC's, etc.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable and adaptable technical specifications and solutions.
• Evaluate business requirements and technology landscape to identify and recommend the most appropriate technology.
• Collaborate with Business Solutions and 3rd Party teams to ensure solution compatibility with strategy, standards, and service model.
• Validate during solution development that developments are aligned to established design.
• Lead and assist with troubleshooting issues arising during development and testing phases.
• Ensure solutions are aligned to HUSA development standards, including review of design, testing strategy and migration planning.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the SAP FI/CO-PA functionalities.
• Provide training and support to business users on SAP FI/CO-PA functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FI/CO-PA modules.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP FI/CO-PA developments and best practices.
• Experience integrating SAP with other systems and applications
• System integration experience with working knowledge of both real time and batch processes, web services and APIs
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Waterfall and Agile development processes and methodologies
• Ability to develop creative solutions to complicated processes.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
• 12-15 years of experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO/PA).
• Proven experience in configuring and maintaining SAP FI/CO-PA modules.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes and requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• SAP certification in Finance and Controlling is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP implementation projects.
• Beverage industry experience is a plus
• Experience with Agile development
• SAP certification(s)
