ad1 osition: SAP ConsultantLocation: Remote, PSTHiring Mode: 4+ Months Contract Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Architect Consultant with expertise in RunMyJobs (Redwood) and experience with BMC Control-M to support assessments, design, and optimization of enterprise job scheduling and SAP landscapes. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and strategic architecture capabilities, enabling the candidate to evaluate existing scheduling frameworks, identify optimization opportunities, and drive automation and standardization across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, architecture, and integration of SAP solutions with RunMyJobs (Redwood) for enterprise job scheduling and automation.Conduct comparative assessments of scheduling tools, including BMC Control-M, to determine optimal fit, migration strategies, and enterprise alignment.Perform end-to-end assessments of SAP environments, identifying system gaps, performance issues, and opportunities for optimization.Define automation strategies to improve scalability, reduce manual processes, and enhance monitoring/alerting capabilities.Partner with business and IT stakeholders to develop architecture roadmaps that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.Provide leadership for system upgrades, migrations, and transitions involving scheduling tools and SAP landscapes.Ensure architectural standards, governance, and compliance (e.g., SOX, NIST, ITIL) are applied consistently.Mentor technical teams and serve as a subject matter expert for SAP job scheduling and automation practices.Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (Master s preferred).10+ years of SAP architecture/design experience across multiple modules and landscapes.Hands-on expertise with RunMyJobs (Redwood), including automation, orchestration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Working knowledge of BMC Control-M, with the ability to compare functionality, performance, and integration approaches against RunMyJobs.Experience conducting detailed system and job scheduling assessments, producing recommendations for modernization and migration.Strong knowledge of SAP Basis, integrations, and dependencies across on-premise and cloud (SAP S/4HANA experience preferred).Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, ITIL processes, and compliance standards.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills:Experience supporting tool evaluations and migration from Control-M to RunMyJobs (or vice versa).Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run, or third-party monitoring tools.Exposure to cloud hosting for SAP (Azure, AWS, bolthires Cloud Platform).Industry experience in utilities, manufacturing, or large-scale enterprise IT environments.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.The position description has been reviewed for accuracy and Dice believes it to correctly reflect the job opportunity. ad2 Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
