Job Description $10,000.00 Recruitment Incentive for eligible positions and eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Our Postpartum unit at UW Medical Center-Montlake is looking for a experienced nurse interested in joining our postpartum team. UW Medical Center-Montlake proudly holds the distinction of being the very first Magnet Designated hospital in the United States. OUR POSTPARTUM UNIT · Family-centered focus · 18 postpartum mother/baby rooms · Cares for medically complex and high-risk postpartum patients OUR POSTPARTUM NURSES · Provide the highest-level of care for our patients by working with Obstetric, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Pediatric/Newborn providers who are in-house and accessible around the clock. · Have access to certified lactation consultants 7-days per week. · Collaborate with dedicated perinatal social workers for care coordination, as needed. · Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards. Nurse patient ratios are assigned by acuity Ratios can be anywhere from 1:3-1:6 (mother = 1 patient, Baby = 1 patient). Compensation, Benefits and Position Details Pay Range Minimum: $94,824.00 annual Pay Range Maximum: $173,976.00 annual Other Compensation: $10,000 Sign on Bonus/Relocation BSN premium $1.00/hr. Certification premium $1.25/hr. Night shift differential $4.50/hr. Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr.
