About the Role We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering and Transportation Analyst to join our team as a Data Entry and Logistics Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to contribute to the success of our nationwide distribution network. As a key member of our Transportation team, you will play a vital role in helping us navigate the complexities of logistics and transportation, ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Assist the H.L. Transportation Fleet by analyzing and optimizing logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions. Collaborate with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, ensuring that our transportation operations align with company goals and objectives. Integrate multiple data assets across various database platforms, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. Develop, create, and maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels. Provide data-driven support to the Transportation team, helping to resolve complex logistics issues and improve overall efficiency. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, analytical, and communication skills. Here are the essential qualifications and preferred skills we are looking for: Essential Qualifications: Previous experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Microsoft Access, with knowledge of database design and management. Typing and 10-key skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into various systems. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of logistics and transportation software, such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
