About the position

The Retail Warehouse Attendant at Delta Center is a vital role within the Compass Group, specifically under Levy, which is renowned for its exceptional service in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry. This position is responsible for ensuring the proper assembly and service of foods while maintaining the sanitation and safety of the department's service and utility areas. The attendant will work closely with other retail associates to create a seamless experience for customers, ensuring that all food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, the attendant will be tasked with proper cash handling and the completion of required daily, weekly, and monthly reports, which include weekly inventory, cash reports, and production records. Responding to customer needs and requests is a key responsibility, as is resolving any customer concerns that may arise. The attendant will also assist with menu planning and ordering, utilizing appropriate company programs and initiatives to ensure that all food offerings meet the high standards set by the company. The position requires adherence to departmental security policies, ensuring that the department is opened and closed according to these guidelines. Additionally, the attendant will assist in the selection and orientation of new associates, overseeing their training to ensure that all team members are equipped to perform their tasks effectively. Compliance with federal, state, local, and health department regulations is crucial, as is following HACCP guidelines when receiving, assembling, and distributing food supplies to guarantee the quality and safety of the food supply. The attendant will also be responsible for identifying and using cleaning chemicals according to the manufacturer's recommendations and MSDS/SDS sheets. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall operations of the department.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for proper cash handling and completion of required daily, weekly and monthly reports, including weekly inventory, cash reports and production records.

• Responds to customer needs and requests; resolves customer concerns.

• Assists with menu planning and ordering using appropriate company programs and initiatives.

• Ensures that department is opened and closed per departmental security policies.

• Assists in the selection and orientation of associates; oversees associate training.

• Ensures associates' daily and weekly tasks are appropriately performed.

• Complies with federal, state, local and health department regulations; helps ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and practices involving food, personal safety and loss-prevention efforts.

• Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving, assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure the quality and safety of food supply.

• Identifies and uses cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per MSDS/SDS sheets.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Ability to handle cash and complete financial reports accurately.

• Strong customer service skills to respond to customer needs and resolve concerns.

• Experience in menu planning and food ordering processes.

• Knowledge of security policies related to food service operations.

• Ability to train and oversee new associates effectively.
